Atlanta Night Out

I have had a lot going on in the last few days and I think I want to write it in pieces...out of order. Friday night we had our wedding reception...confused? We have been married for a year and a half, but the majority of Jacksonville friends and the majority of the family couldn't make it to our first event, so our first trip back from China was our earliest re-celebration. It was better than I could even imagine...but I'll tell you all about that later.

Just a teaser ;)
Tonight I had a wonderful date night with hubs. My aunt got my mom a gift card for Cinebistro and after looking into it, I decided it would be perfect for date night. It was Perfect. For those of you in Atlanta, Tampa or Miami, Hampton or Richmond (Virginia) or Vale, you have to check it out. It's a movie theatre but with a twist. You show up at least 30 minutes early, go to your seat (that you reserve before hand) and are greater by your waiter and a great menu. You order a full meal all at once and it is delivered before the movie begins. They stop service before the movie so there are no distractions. The menu is amazing, the wine/alcohol list is expansive and their coffee choices are great. I got Pan-Seared Atlantic Salmon and a Latte and he got a Caesar Salad and Meatloaf Sliders with a Mocha. My meal had collard greens which were actually amazing with mashed potatoes spiced up with little shrimps and avocados. I cannot say enough good things about this place, so if you have one in your town or visit a town with one, I wholeheartedly suggest it.

We saw Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol which was also amazing. It was by far the best movie I have seen in a while and the best of the series by far. It was witty and the action scenes were terrifyingly amazing.

Overall it was a fabulous evening and a great way to start the New Year! Happy New Year to all of you and I hope that 2012 is your best year yet!
